This is going to be a 7 round tournament with NO SCOREKEEPING. Rounds will start every 1/2 hour. You’ll be done by 2:00 in the afternoon. Your ACC over-the-board rating will be used for pairing purposes. If you gain rating points you will receive them, but you cannot lose any rating points in this tournament!
WHEN & WHERE: Saturday July 31st at Voris Community Learning Center
TIME CONTROL & FORMAT: G/10; 7 round Swiss System
ROUND TIMES: Round 1 starts at 10:30AM then rounds every 30 minutes thereafter.
ENTRY FEE: Adult Member-$8.00 Adult nonmember-$12 Junior Member-$4.00 Junior nonmember $6.
SIGN-UP: See JOE YUN at any Club Meeting in advance of the tournament. Registration on day of tournament accepted until 10:15am. no entries accepted after cut-off time...no exceptions. late entrants may start second round.
PRIZES: (b/16adult) 1st Overall-$35; 2nd Overall-$25; 1st Div II-$25; 2nd Div II-$20. Then prize divisions every 8 players. Trophy may be substituted for cash prize at winners option.
