ONE-DAY G/30 SWISS IN TWO SECTIONS
You must be an ACC member to compete in this event
Here’s a one day tournament that will be played in two sections. The total number of players will be divided into two groups by rating and you will only play the people within your own group.
WHEN & WHERE: Saturday, June 7th at the University of Akron Student Union Building Room 335
TIME CONTROL & FORMAT: G/30; 4 round Swiss System
ROUND TIMES: 10:30am; 12 noon; 1:30pm; 3:00pm
ENTRY FEE: Adult Member-$8.00 Junior Member-$4.00
SIGN-UP: See JOE YUN at any Club Meeting in advance of the tournament Registration on day of tournament accepted until 10:15am.
PRIZES (b/16 adult): 1st, Open-$35; 2nd, Open-$25; 1st, Reserve-$25 2nd, Reserve-$20. NO PLAYOFFS. Tiebreaker systems in effect. Trophy may be substituted for cash at prize winner’s option.
YOUR COMMITMENT: You are expected to complete the entire playing schedule if you enter the tournament, regardless of your results. If, up to 12 hours prior to the tournament you notify JOE YUN (330) 492-8332 that you are unable to play, your entry fee will be refunded in full. Your fellow ACC members come to play rated games...please don’t willfully deprive them of the opportunity!
